The 4th and 5th grade class welcomed Dr. Sternitzky to their class today. He is a local optometrist, or eye doctor, and is a great community expert for our students. The eye is one body part the 4th and 5th graders are studying in their current health project. 
Today students learned how the eye works, how to take care of the eyes, and why good eye care is so important. Students were full of questions - from eye surgery to prosthetic eyes to the best part about being an eye doctor.Thank you, Dr. Sternitzky, for visiting and sharing your knowledge with our students!
