First and Second Grade Mapping Activity

Last Friday students in first and second grade went on a walk through town and completed a map of Vesper.  Students were given a blank template of town.  Starting at school, they labeled ten important places and a number of streets.  Below you can see the original map and a completed map - a bit crinkled, but completed! - followed by the students hard at work and the X that marked the spot for a wonderful surprise that was both icy and creamy!
