Yesterday, before the kickoff of Community Curriculum, the entire school met for our first CARES assembly. One of the best parts of the meeting was hearing all the ways students and teachers have seen students using their CARES at school. Some great examples included walking quietly and respectfully in the hall, welcoming new students, kindness on the playground, and numerous examples of students helping one another without being asked.
The sixth grade CARES cadets led the meeting. Here are some pictures of our all-school greeting:

It's shaping up to be a terrific year at Vesper Community Academy!
